Nature has so much to teach us.

We know the concept of Biomimicry or at least use its innovations (air conditioning systems inspired by the termites, plane inspired by sharks, technical wires inspired by pinguins and much more).

But what has Nature to teach us around leadership and team cohesiveness ?

For Anouk, Wásábi's co-founder, it all started when she was 6.

He parents brought her to a horse riding facility and she fell in love with these animals that were 50 times her weight and 3 times as tall.

Long story short, what these animals taught her as a kid and as a teenager never left her.

When struck by cancer in 2013, she decided to radically change her life and reconnect with horses. And her passion for human development, leadership, and nature.

After 25 years of experience in academia and the corporate world in Belgium, a M.Sc. and a MBA in Quantitative Methods for Business, she made a bold move to Canada and obtained three certifications as a Certified Coach and Advanced Facilitator in Equine Facilitated Learning & Coaching, with a focus on organizational and leadership development.

There was no way back - her desire to live her life in the most authentic way as possible and to give back is her new path.

Her husband Christian joined her in this new adventure and they co-founded WÁSÁBI COACHING & LEADERSHIP in 2016.

With one goal in mind : make the world a better place.

One leader, one human, one horse, one step at a time.

To serve that goal, they develop and deliver powerful team building and leadership development courses.

All of them include interactions with their adopted horses.

Yes, because horses deserve a great life too - like we all do.

But like many humans, some of them had tough experiences. They are now our lifelong partners and your incredibly powerful teachers.

Anouk and Christian opened their own leadership training center in 2018 in Morin-Heights, in the middle of the woods.

Yes, you'll learn IN nature and WITH nature.

Because animals and nature have managed to survive and thrive for millions of years.
